EDMXC and E1008

I have just connected Inspire E1008 to EDMXC scene controller, but the E1008 is completely dead. Should I be able to measure some voltage on the wires between the two?

I am worried about there might be some hardware malfunction.

Hi gsmari, do you have an EchoConnect power supply in your system? More information here: www.etcconnect.com/.../Features.aspx

These are required in any Echo Control System.

Hi Lowell, are you saying that the EDMXC is NOT giving power to the E1008 ? That would of course explain my problem.
