When I'm not connected to any other devices, or using the offline editor, the software will not replicate channel levels of Echo devices.
I love being able to test scenarios on the offline editor, especially now that EchoTouch can control multiple spaces, but if I can't emulate what the output devices are doing, the offline editor is useless.
tl;dr - treat echo devices like DMX devices when not connected to them
