Can Echo Touch be set to allow for console override?

I looked through and don't see this question so I hope I am not duplicating. My question is if I install a Console In (DMX or Network) "in-line" with Echo Touch can I program the Echo Touch to let the console control the rig as long as it is plugged in?

  • Yes. Much easier if you are using sACN to do this. You would want the console to have a higher sACN priority like 101. Or the EchoTouch to be lower like 99. The default is priority 100 on ETC products.

if you are on DMX from either or if both products are on hardline you would need a network node to set priority at the DMX input on the node/gateway

If you leave both the same then it’ll just merge the data with HTP.
which is why you get a purple light for example when blue is at full in echo touch and red is at full on the console.
