Two more questions

Sorry, me again!

1) Do the USB outlets on the back of the CS20AV console have enough power to run a ‘nano-router’, e.g. the TP-WR702N?

2) What happens if you load show files from one species of CS console into another. For instance from a CS40 into a CS20AV, or vice versa?

  • Hello Stuart,

The USB ports are only designed for use with thumbdrives, USB mouse, and USB keyboard (v2.0+ needed for external keyboard support).  They are not designed to provide power to things like a router, LED gooseneck light, or coffee maker.

When loading files between variants of consoles, they will each do the best they can.  For instance, if you moved a file from CS20 to a CS40AV, you would have access to everything programmed on the CS20.  If going the opposite direction (so, the most extreme case), the CS20 would not load:

    • Any channels patched above the 20's limit
    • Any Memories stored above the 20's limit
    • All AV content

    Thanks,

  • Thanks, Matt

What are the differences between the 40 and 20 in terms of memories?
