Following on from discussions on the Blue Room about making desks more 'technophobe' friendly, something useful and I'm sure easy to implement would be to be able to set the Colorsource consoles to power up with 'Playback' selected rather than 'Chanel'. Also a box to bypass the initial power-on screen (so you don't have to press the button to get to the main screen - that really annoys me!).
That way a user can be told to switch on the desk, and once it's on the main screen to "Push fader X up".
Something as simple as looking for a little icon and pressing it on a touch screen can elude some users!
