Multiple fader controls on 1 fader

Hello!

I’m just getting started with a ColorSource AV40 DMX console. I’ve been going over the manual pretty thoroughly, but there are some things I just can’t figure out.

I have 8 MacTech 960 lights that I’m controlling with 8 different faders. Is it possible to keep that current setup, but also assign a 9th fader to control all the lights at once?

Fade each light up on its own and record as a playback, giving you eight playbacks. Fade up all eight lights and record as the ninth playback. You will then get the control you want in the playback mode.

Just a question about the second part of your response, did you mean to record the playback of the 8 lights fading up? And then I can assign that recording to the 9th fader?

You can either fade all 8 up on their channels, or fade all 8 playbacks up, and record as the 9th. You should get the same result.
