I'm confused about which fixture profile you're looking for - "Mac Aura -ext -ext 24"?
For the VL1000TS, I would patch the dimmer as a dimmer, and the fixture as the following channel:
This will cause a warning to be triggered, but that shouldn't prevent the fixture from being operated. Just keep in mind that in this scenario, Channel 1 controls brightness, and 2 controls everything else.
