I'm helping my local high school evaluate a newly proposed lighting system for their small auditorium. Because of our limited budget, we are spec'ing out some components that allow us to utilize the old dimmer racks in the DMX universe (they were previously analog controlled dimmers).
We're looking at the Colorsource CS20 as our control board.
The DMX-to-Analog converter drives a 0-24 v signal in the 0-255 DMX command range. The dimmers at the school, however, are set to full intensity at 0 v, and shut off at 24 v. I need to make sure that the channel controls on our board turn the lights up in the "up" direction, and turn the lights down in the "down" direction, which I think means I need to somehow invert the control signal. Is there a way to do this in the Colorsource CS20 board?
