Hi,I have a problem with the Cameo TS 200 FC and the color picker in 14ch mode:When I click in the color picker on the top left, I get some sort of purple. If I look at the individual values I can see the blue channel at 14.To have a pure Red, you have to adjust the color to the right (about 30 clicks) to get rid of the blue. It's like the "zero position" of the color picker isn't set in the right place. Is there a way to fix this? Thanks in advance
We don't have any color measurements for this fixture, so ColorSource is using an estimate based on "common" Red, Green, Blue, Amber, Cyan and Lime emitters.
This can only be improved be measuring ("color calibrating") the fixture.
We'd need a representative sample fixture to do this, it's usually done by Carallon in London.
That answers my question but doesn't solve my problem. But thanks anyway.
Is there a way to get the manufacturer to contact you or do you not want to?
We are always happy to measure new fixtures, we just need someone to arrange to send a sample to us.
I'd suggest asking Cameo (or your reseller) to get in touch with us, as they're likely to have access to good representative fixtures.
It's possible they have already measured the data we need.
If they aren't willing to do this, then we'd be happy to measure a fixture you sent over.
Message sent to the French representative... wait & see.
Thanks
