We own a Colorsource 40 AV.
I just purchased a Colorsource 20 ( used) .
I also have the MAC emulator.
The show files on the USB for the Colorsource 40 AV do not appear on the Colorsource 20 and visa versa.
I see the file structure seems to be different with the Colorsource 40AV having .lsf files and the Colorsource 20 having a folder and .json files.
Is there a way to interoperate the files? Can I use the Mac emulator somehow?
I reread the manual again and I think I found the answer:
Format Show files in software version 2.6.0 and older are formatted as .json. From v3.0 onwards, archive format .lsf is used, which bundles the .json show with other settings.
So I need to upgrade the software in the Colorsource 20 to .v3 or higher.
Now I need to get the files to upgrade the unit.
Hi there, that is correct we made a change to the file extension in v3.0. Its always recommended to keep consoles on the same software version if you are switching between console. Software installers can be found here: https://www.etcconnect.com/Products/Consoles/ColorSource/Software.aspx
