There should be a way to ‘fix’ a playback fader to make it immune to page changes.
If, as a simple example, you are lighting a gig and have a page for each song, you might want to keep a frontal face wash on the same playback fader throughout.
The software will do this now if you don’t fade the playback out, but should you do so, intentionally or otherwise, that fader function will change. It would be good to know you can rely on the wash to come up every time.
You are more likely to have to change pages if you are using Sound2Light when the first six playbacks of each page are dedicated to that.
