I'm trying to set up a chase that I can apply to selected lights which will run the chase on different color looks that I've assigned to different playbacks.
Example: I've set up a look with a group of curtain uplights and a series of wash fixtures. Curtain lights are one color, washes are another. The look is assigned to a playback fader. On another playback fader I've created an Effect with an intensity setting to create a chase on the curtain lights, saved to include position and beam, but deselecting color and intensity.
When I try to apply the chase to the look, the icon comes up in the upper right, but the effect does not work. If I select the icon, select edit and the edit screen appears with the yellow border around the icon. If I click on the icon (deselect it) then re-select it, the effect activates.
Is there any way to avoid going through all those extra steps?
