Building custom color effects

Using a ColorSource 40AV how does one create an effect using a color scheme that is different than the ones included in the console?

Specifically I would like to create an effect between two specific colors using intensity and parameters that are built in to the board.

If it helps, the instrument that I am using for the effect is an Element Hex.

The built in color schemes do not appear to be editable (would be nice if they were).

  • Hello,

I'm not sure I understand what you want to do.

But to create other effects than those proposed, we can make "sequences"

  • Thanks for the reply.  The problem with creating a sequence is that they cannot be entered in a Cue List as that only captures a snapshot 'in time' of the sequence.

What I am wanting to do is either:

    1.   Edit the color scheme of a built in effect (in this case, the Flame effect)

    or

    2.   Create my own effect (from ground up) using the parameters in the effects panel (Color, Shape, Intensity Param)

It seems limiting to not be able to to do either (or both) of those things which is why I am wondering if I am missing something.
