RFR - USB crash on Cobalt 20

Hi Guys,

We've had intermittent crashes on the Cobalt 20, which we believe are caused by our RFR unit.
This is the one we have been using on the Congo for many years.

The error message is:
" communication error has occured on HighSpeedPipeline3:
The sempahore timeour period has expired.
'
The connection has been broken"

(Yes there is a ' on it's own line)

The desk then locks up and has to be rebooted.

Prior to the crash the desk is functioning fine, as is the remote operation.
As the error appears to be caused on the USB circuits, I have tried unpluggin the mouse, keyboard & any memory sticks, as well.
Having nothing plugged into USB seems to be ok. Just plugging the remote in on it's own (after an undetermined time ) has caused the crash.
Any thoughts?

I've not yet updated to the latest Cobalt version, but was using the version that was shipped with the machine. Is it ok to go ahead & update, or did you want me to stay on this version to try anything?
