Programing moving lights into cues

I am not a moving light programer expert so I do have some questions. When I program cues including moving lights( mac350 and Robe 575at) I made sure that in setup I use the automark option. As far as I understand the moving lights move into position including attributes in the cue before. That seems not to work. What am I missing? In normal theatre use you dont want to see the lights move. Any suggestions? Filip

  • Hi Filip -

Automark will look at the combined live state of the system and move lights into their next position only when they have 0% intensity. If the channel has intensity it is assumed you want to have a live move happen. Would it be correct to assume that your lights are not being turned off  (or are on because a master or independent is active) between the cues where you expect them to move?

    Thanks much -
