How to assign the "GO" command with MIDI Korg nanoKONTROL interface for COBALT nomad system. it works fine for masters and flash.

  • First of all, make sure that Cobalt's MIDI "Keys" setting is set to "Receive" or "Rec/Tra"

    You'll then need to check/edit the MIDI Note assignment for the key on your nanoKONTROL.

    The correct Note then depends which MIDI mode you've chosen on the Cobalt.

    If "Direct" mode is ticked (default for new plays in 7.1.1):
    GO is MIDI Channel 1, Note 103 decimal (0x67 hex)
    PAUSE is Note 104 (0x68), GoBack is Note 105 (0x69)

    If "Direct" mode is unticked (standard for older plays):
    GO is MIDI Note 49 decimal (0x31 hex)
