Setting up an aRFR system on a Congo running cobalt 7.2

Question

Hi 
 
 I have the router plugged onto the rear of my Congo. 
 
 I have set up the Congo with a good IP address 
 
 My android phone running the etc software cant find the console 
 
 Should the ip addresses be the same (both phone and console?) 
 
 Do i need what they call a switcher between the desk and the router as i have seen in some documentation? 
 
 Just want it to work please help

Hello 
that's fine with wifi router only. 
Your phone need to have the same IP range as your Console, by default ETC console are on 10.101.X.X mask 255.255.0.0 
you have to active Network on Cobalt system setting and active WIFI remote too. 
with last Congo Kid and JR, there is 2 ethernets ports, be careful to use the network connexion with the right IP range you can use with your wifi router. 
 
your domestic wifi router is maybe on 192.168.0.x
