I am attempting to update a show file for a Congo Kid Console with the Cobalt offline software. I do not have the ability to import files from my flash drive, nor export files to a flash drive. Do I need a dongle to do this?
I was able to shift things around in sub directories to make the file transfer happen. Still awkward that you can't access files from the flash drive directly
I haven't ever had that problem with Windows machines. You do not need a dongle to use the USB file utilities.
What platform are you doing the offline with? If it is a Mac, perhaps it is because of the Mac OS file structure and Cobalt not being compatible in this instance.
Glad that you got a work around.

What do you mean by platform? OS?
I'm on windows 10
This is on my PC, I haven't tried it on my MAC yet.
Directly placing the file in the applications folder was a simple fix, but awkward.
When do you open the Cobalt offline the flash drive is already on the pc?? Because at same time ago that happen to me and the workaround is to insert the flash drive on the pc after the Cobalt offline is open.
Windows gives USB sticks "random" drive letters, so Cobalt has to see the drive letter get assigned to know what's a USB stick and what's a second/third/fourth hard disk, network drive etc.
