OSC syntax

Hi all

I'm trying to control the 4 Device wheels of Cobalt using an OSC format that I create to control some moving devices using the U1,U2,U3 keys but for now it's a battle that I lost. I try a lot of syntax but nothing work so If someone knows how to do that I apreciate a lot.

For now I'm using 4 wheels on the OSC layout and one has this syntax "/cobalt/param/pan/wheel". What I want is to control the wheels on Cobalt to change this wheel to another parameter just by clicking on an U key.

Currently, there is no generic command that just runs the four wheels directly, only the parameter specific ones. This is something that we are considering to add.

In v8.0 you can control any fixture parameter via OSC with /cobalt/param/%PARAMETER_NAME%/wheel

This will allow you to make OSC controls that do any set of parameters you need.

However as Anders said this doesn't touch the four console parameter wheels, so parameter paging would need to be done inside your OSC controller.

So, in the OSC controller you can have a Pan, Tilt, red, green, blue, cyan and so on? just not on 4 wheels that you change?
I can work with that! ;-)

Hi all

I already try this "/cobalt/param/%PARAMETER_NAME%/wheel" on v8 and it works fine. My problem is with v7.3 because pan and tilt works normally but the rest doesn't work.
I never know what I need because we use diferents devices that's why I ask how to control the wheels. With U's keys it will be more easy to work.

And about Independents 1 to 3 how can I use them?? I try "/cobalt/independent1/wheel" on V7.3 but it's not working.
