Cobalt 8.0.1 JR and a PC Nomad as backup/Client
So on my setup I have a pc-Nomad with a 1x20 master wing (The one supposed to sit on top of a JR) as backup.
I have argued a lot about the master range and so but I think I was talking about this problem I have now in the beta testing and that is that I can't use the masters on the backup without them lagging.
When I bring master 1 up on my main desk it works fine, but then when I do it on the back up it steps up and not fades.
I need to use the laptop with wing for things like when guests have only one technician and want to control the lights from sound control. then a laptop and a little wing is perfect, but I want to focus and program the lights on the big desk.
I'm not the one using the desks right now so I do not want to install the new beta (I know some improvements are made there to masters in network) but is it geting better in 8.1?
it feels like the merge of Backup and client isn't working as intended when the client part isn't stable....
