Cobalt Version 8 Software running on Laptop

Does anyone have system requirements for running the Cobalt software V8.0.1 on a laptop? I installed the last version of V7 on an HP Elitebook 6930p laptop running Windows 7 (https://www.cnet.com/products/hp-elitebook-6930p-14-1-core-2-duo-p8700-windows-7-pro-xp-pro-downgrade-2-gb-ram-250-gb-hdd-series/specs/) and it ran fine. When I tried V8 it through up a message about insufficient graphics capability. 

I'm looking at potentially purchasing a new laptop/tablet to run the software on (as a remote/offline editor) so I need to know what spec to get.

            1. Windows personal computer minimum requirements:

              1. Intel-based multi-core processor with clock frequency higher than 2.0 GHz

              2. Windows 7 or higher with >500 MB free disk space

              3. Screen resolution of at least 1280x1024

              4. 512 MB of RAM minimum (1 GB recommended)

              5. 64 MB video card

              6. RJ-45 Ethernet network adapter (required to communicate with a lighting network, DMX output devices)

              7. USB ports for connection of Nomad dongle, accessories
