FX rate control

Question

When adjusting the rate of a dynamic effect live it always snaps back to the first position. In 8.1.1 is there a way of controlling the rate without the effect starting over?

How do you control the rate? Sounds like you have rate on a master set to 0 and then pull it up. If you have a Cobalt, JR, kid or programming wing you select the effect while it plays back you can on the wheels set the rate. then it won't snap. But yea, you need to be in the effect editing to do so.
