Offline not beeing offline

So back to The problem of offline mode not beeing offline. 

I need to update some things in patch and are loging in in offline mode. 

In RDM list I can se mu Universe 3 as online and The rest as offline. I clear the offline devices but later some of them is coming back, still as offline.

I can also turn on identify ok my fixtures on Uni3. 

Why have a offline mode if the only way to be offline is to pull the network cable?

  • Hi, The short answer is: Offline mode was developed a long time ago to start the system in a way that didn't connect to other servers/backups/clients on the network, to allow working on a different show file blindly. In this mode, it would also not send light to the rig.

    I understand that you want it to be completely offline, including RDM.
