Hi Patch,
There's a bug in version 7.x on MacOS where the USB drive isn't always available. Please copy the play to your Plays Folder (usually Documents\ETC\Cobalt\Plays) and try opening from there.
Sorry to say that this isn't only on MacOS. I've got win10 and for some time i can't read or save anything on a pen using the offline software. I thought that is something wrong with my pens or pc but now I realise that is "normal??"
Of course I solve this bug copy to and from the pen to the PC but it's very strange to do that everytime I use the offline.

Thank you guys will try that later much appreciated
glad it’s not me not going going mad
On Windows you sometimes have to unplug and replug the USB drive once Cobalt is running, due to the way Windows assigns drive letters.
That is what I thought, because in the past when the Cobalt don't recognized the pen I just unplug and the plug the pen and work very well. For some time that i saw this problem but I I can´t say since when. Maybe since June or July.
In my case, I was not able to save copy to USB or load anything from it..
V7.1.1. on a Windows 10 PC
Solved it today!
Open the
-"About"
-"About Cobalt" -> "Networking" tab -> check and see what the USB Path and letter is. (Mine is F:/ )
The USB drive letter has to match that path, otherwise it will not be recognized by the software.
My optical drive occupied the F:/ letter so I had to change it..
Google how to change a drive letter on your system, and change the USB to what it needs to be.
If you plug in the USB drive while Cobalt is running, it should adjust this for you automatically.
Tried that way too, and nothing changes..
The problem is that it recognizes an extra backup hard drive that is connected via SATA->USB, and not the flash drive itself..
Flash drive is FAT32, the hard drive NTFS.
