Hello, is it possible to link a preset to a macro? I've manged to link a macro to a sequence step but I would prefer it to link to the preset itself.
Many thanks

Hi Al,
Could you tell us a bit about what you are trying to achieve with a macro? Macros rarely have to be used with Congo.
Hi Anders,
Thanks for replying.
I'd like to link a masters page to a preset. I made a macro which linked a page to a sequence step but I would prefer to link to the preset itself.
Have I missed something fairly obvious?
Many thanks
Al
When do you want the master page to be loaded? When the preset arrives in the B field of the Main Playback? When the preset is loaded or activated on a master etc?
There is a feature in the sequence list where you can enter the master page number directly in the column "Master Page". Then there is no need to create a macro at all.

I'd like the master page to change as the preset becomes live in the main playback. However the sequence list will be changing from day to day depending on which shows will be taking place. It would be good if the master page could stick with its relevant preset rather than the step number in the sequence.
Thanks for the additional information. I understand your point. However, currently you can link Macros or Master Page changes to the sequence step only.
I would recommend you to use the Master Page column in the sequence list rather than the macro since it is much safer.
