CongoKid Masters

Ok, so I am newer to the Congo world, so this could easily be user error.  I am working on a show and had recorded a handful of masters to contain Channels (as well as other masters containing presets and sequences), set levels and ran through the day.  I saved the show and powered down at the end of the night.

Upon returning the next morning and powering up, all of the masters that contained channels had been cleared but everything else was just as I had left it.  Thinking this was a fluke and user error, I rewrote the affected masters and plodded on for day two, saving as usual at end of day.

Returning the third day, the same issue occurred, which leads me to think it was not a fluke.  Any insight on this?

  • The most likely thing is a setting in [Setup] > "Masters" called "Auto-Update Master Page"

If that is not ticked, changes you make to the Masters (what's on them, settings etc) aren't automatically stored onto the current Page.
    - To manually record the Page, use [Record] & {Page1-20} (bottom bank) or [Record] & {Page21-40} (top bank).

This setting is part of the show file, and may be stored in the 'Default Play' as well.
