Yes, you should update.
As of this post the latest RFR remote firmware was 2.15 and the base firmware was 2.07, both should be updated at the same time.
The release note and update instructions can be downloaded from here.

The firmware itself is included with Gateway Configuration Editor (GCE) v3.1.1.

I installed the GCE as per your link and ended up with version 3.0.2.9.0.18.  Is this correct?

Hi Orri,

That is correct. Version 3.1.1 is referring to the installer version of the Gateway Configuration Editor bundle. The version of GCE itself installed within that bundle is 3.0.2.
