Cobalt & wysiwyg

Hi gwendal,

Cobalt Nomad does not support ETCNet2 as an output protocol. Cobalt Nomad does support ArtNet as an output protocol and it would appear that WYSIWYG also can listen to ArtNet input.

For detailed instructions on how to connect ArtNet to WYSIWYG, please see page 577 (Appendix D) of the WYSIWYG Product Release 32 Reference Guide available to you via Cast's website.

hi,

i've followed detailed instructions, whitout success. 

Wysiwyg never connect.. it seems that it doesn't recognise ArtNet input (IP network 10.x.x.x / Secondary ArtNet)

An idea?

Hi Gwendal,

It may be that WYSIWYG only uses ArtNet version 1 which is limited to the Primary ArtNet (2.x.x.x) IP range. I would suggest trying that IP range as well.

Are you running this from one computer or two computers connected via Ethernet?

So 2 computers are running via Ethernet.

I've changed Ip adress as 2.x.x.x; and i find a software on the pc running wysiwyg who tells me Art net connexion are Ok.

But it doesn't work when i start wysiwyg. So i mailed cast-software to explain the problem, and i'm waiting for their answers.

Yes it work, i made a mistake, because i entered ip adress on Wyg ArtNet Configuration Utility and on the property of ArtNet Device.

So you told me to configure only Wyg ArtNet, and it was the solution.

On older version than R32, we can use too wygalizer by luminex.
