Anyone having trouble editing presets stored on masters?

I haven't had a problem with this causing me to have crashes.  I have used the preset editor to make the change.  If the master is active, I have to reset the master to load the change.  I was just running a show this weekend in this manner, and I didn't have a problem.

Hi Ann,

You can also press and hold [Modify] and the Assign key of your Master(where your preset is). This opens the Master Editor at the right preset. You can then make the changes you want. If you move away from the preset or close the Master Editor without hitting [update], this change is only on the Masterpage and not in the preset itself. You could then assign the unchanged old preset to a different master.
If you want to make the change permanent, hit [Update].

Note that changes made in the Master Editor occur live if the Master is above 1%

Editing in the Preset List is always Blind, regardless of whether the Master is up or not.
