V5 New Efeect symmetrical.

Hi All.

I am using the effect of V5 now.

LED is used by 144 sets.

Now, I think that I am very strange.

It is the case where symmetrical is used.

For example, it reproduces by "Build" at three steps of RGB.

Symmetrical of two groups is used.

In this case, LED of 1 and 144 carries out the same motion, and I think that it moves as it was called 2 and 143 next.

Now, it is divided into the group which is not in my idea.

Is symmetrical which I consider differed from?
(like wing function of GrandMA)

The trial stripes also of various others were carried out.

How does everybody think?

  • How many parts do you use?

To get true symmetrical behavior, use 1/2 the parts as you have channels. So, 144 channels, 72 parts symmetrical, should give you 1+144, 2+143, etc.

    Thanks!

    Sarah

  • I found that.

Symmetrical of Congo is not what I consider symmetrical.

    I consider symmetrical.

    Four groups,symmetrical.

    1 group 1-36,2 group 37-72,3 group 73-108,4 group 109-144.

    1group symmetrical.

    1 36,2 35,3 34....

    2 group symmetrical.

    37 72,38 71,39 70.....

I would like to be able to do symmetrical with in each group.

    Can you add this?

  • Hi Kani,

Can you create a "set" or a different group that is ordered the way you want and then use a sequential effect.

Build a group that is 1,36,37,72,73,108,109,144,2,35,38,71,74,107,110,143,3,34,...

A pain to build but it would allow you to create the chase you are looking for.

Or, what about creating 4 effects playbacks, one for each group and playing them back simultaneously?

I know this doesn't address what you want to do, but it would be a good work around.

To Anders and Sarah and the rest of the Congo team, what if a chase effect could have multiple groups of channels as attributes and each group could be symmetrica, sequential. etc?  That and rate control for a chase would be neat!

Okay, I know...I'm harping on about the rate thing.

    Take care,

    John

  • Hi John.

    Thank you.

In use of LED, I think that these have a big meaning.

The addition of a function is expected.

    Best regards,

    Kani
