V5 dynamics and direct select

This function was removed from the Direct Selects in version 5, to give space for the Gel picker function.

However, because v5 Effects are merely a special kind of channel, you can use the Param Direct Select option to put whichever table you want there.

To do this:

1. Create an Effect Playback [Insert]&[Effect]
2. Make this Effect Playback a Dynamic, and hit [Modify] / click [Execute]
   
3. Hold [Type] down on the Direct Selects
4. Choose [Param] as the type for the relevant bank
5. Hit User Key [2] next to the encoders
6. Hit the [DynTempla] softkey

Now you can select any Dynamic Effect Playback and choose which effect it should be running using Direct Selects.

You can also do this with the other attributes of an Effect Playback, such as which Group/Set it is applying the effect to!
