Numiric clavier gives other caracters

Hi There,

A little problem happend this afternoon. By recording some palettes my numeric clavier of the congo gived me some other caracters like  "&é"'(§è!ç".Just like on my laptop when I hold the shift button.

I did have a extern clavier attached on my congo, a apple clavier that hasn't no "num lock". I couldn't find a way to get it back on the numeric clavier. I think I did try all normal trics to set it back, but nothing changed anything.

Is there an other way than starting up the console again whitout the extern clavier? Let me know, it's a console for a school and like you know, the students try things out  where we even don't think about.

Thanks in advance,

Raf

  • Pressing the Clear button on the Apple keyboard (clavier) should act as Num Lock when attached to a Windows-based computer (i.e. Congo).  It's in the same location Num Lock would normally be in.  Also, there's isn't an LED to indicate whether Num Lock is active or not, but it should toggle it correctly.
