Just a quick question,
Does Congo support DMX in via ArtNet?
If so where do I set it up.
Thanks
Richard

Congo does not support Dmx In through ArtNet.
However, it does support input through ETC Net2 or sACN.
Anders-
Could you clarify for us to what extent Congo supports the various network protocols? The product data sheets for Congo & Congo JR list among the features "ACN, ETCNet2, Avab and ArtNet network protocols". If Congo supports a subset of a protocol's features, could you please describe in general which features are supported?
Thanks.

Hi Jon -
Congo v5 software supports ETCNet2 EDMX protocol for level output and DMX Input via ETCNet2 DMX nodes and Net3 Gateways in ETCNet2 mode. ACN is currently implemented for communication with the Net3 IO Gateway. Support for the Net3 Show Control Gateway will come in a future release. Streaming ACN is supported for levels output and the communication of DMX input via a Net3 DMX Gateway. Artnet is supported for data output. Avab IPX protocol is also supported for data output and for communication with visualizers that support bi-directional communication (WYSIWYG and Capture).
Future development continues specifically in the area of Net3/ACN as more ACN-compatible devices become available.
Is there specific network functionality you are looking for?
Thanks -
