Chase effects and BPM

In the new effects engine is it possible to set the tempo of a chase to a numeric BPM?  If not we'll just have to use the old style chases?

  • Hi Mat -

    Not yet. However you can tap a rate into a Content effect to match a musical tempo (this will scale the step time and all fade times according to the tapped in value). You might want to build your chase effect using a group or channel set and an on/off series in break mode. Then you have all the available controls of the content effect. Or you can build an old style flash chase using the Chase Wizard and BPM setting as before (remember that using BPM will eliminate all fade times within the chase sequence).
