congo jnr midi question

hi there,

               i have a congo jnr and was wondering if it is poss to connect a keyboard via midi input, is it poss to assign certain notes on the keyboard to control groups or single channels? can only seem to make it control go button etc , any help would be most appreciated.

  • Congo (and Congo Jr) use MIDI notes to control specific keys and faders on the facepanel.

    In fact, every key and every fader has a MIDI note or MIDI controller that can be used as a remote control, either from another Congo or Congo Jr, or any other MIDI source such as a keyboard or MIDI sequencer.

    - Note that the encoders do not have any form of MIDI control.

    However, the assignment of these keys cannot be changed, and you cannot assign macros to MIDI inputs.

    Given that the MIDI notes include all the Master Keys and Master Flash buttons, you could assign your groups to the Masters and control them that way.
