Scrolling within fixed tabs...

Hi all,

Today's silly question is about scrolling around in a tab which has no scrollbars (like a 'Live' tab for example) -and I don't mean zooming, actually scrolling round the tab.

I know you can do this because I've seen it done (it's all your fault Jeremy !) but I can't remember what keys you use !

I think it involved the cursor keys and a modifier but can't be sure.

Hi Richard,
It's probably easiest to remember this shortcut by remembering what you're trying to scroll through. You're trying to scroll through channels, so hold the CH/ID button and use the wheel or the up and down arrows to scroll.

To scroll in the "Live" tab, hold down "CH/ID" and move the wheel up and down to find your desired channels. If it is not scrolling, double check to see if you have the "Live" tab selected. I hope that helps.

Hm, Richard, I can't do this in a channel layout. What am I missing? Hold down CH, roll level wheel? Doesn't work for me in either of my two current channel layouts, whether I start with a channel selected or not, though it works fine in other (plain channels) Live displays. v4.2.1.

CH/ID and the arrow keys works in the channel layout, but I don't believe the wheel version works in there -- probably because you've got two axes of travel and the wheel can only go one way.
