Adding a new Moving head / spotlight to Congo JR

I assume want to add a fixture that exists in the library.

1. Press [Browser]
2. Navigate to ->Patching
3. Press [Modify] on Import Template Wizard]
4. Use the mouse or your arrow keys to go to Manufacturer
5. Choose your Manufacturer
6. Go down to the next drop down list
7. Choose your fixture type
8. Go to [Import] press [Modify]
9. Close the Wizard by pressing [ESC]
10. Open the Patch Wizard
11. goto devices
12. Choose the template and the number of fixtures you want to patch
13. Choose the first desk channel you want to patch them to
14. enter the DMX address and Universe ( In your case 2)
15. Go all the way down and press [Modify]

Now they are all patched...

If you need to change any DMX adresses press and hold [Modify] + Device
That opens up your device list

Hi there -

1) Have you checked both the Standard and Extended libraries in the Insert Template Wizard?

2) If you need to build a template, please see the Congo User Manual starting on page 208, or the help system Patching>Settings and Tools>Templates, for information on the templates Congo uses to define moving lights and how to build your own template. Once built, templates can be imported from one show to another, so remember to save a copy of that show. Additionally, there are some helpful hints included in this forum announcement.

What fixture are you looking for specifically?
