We recently tried using our backup Congo Jr. as a "preview console" so we didn't have to haul out the Sr. for afternoon rehearsals during previews. The Sr. has 4 universes and the Jr. only 2. Generally we only use the first 2 universes, but our architecturals are on the 4th, so we figured this would be O.K. assuming that the Jr. would simply not recognize or bring up dimmers in the 4th universe, however, the Jr. completely erased all of the channels assigned to dimmers in the 4th universe in every preset. We only found this out after we went into preshow and couldn't figure out why our house lights would not go on. Any chance this could get fixed in a future software update?
