a count up timer

Have you looked at the Alert function? There is an Alert mode that measures the times between the crossfades. It can record Alert times for you automatically.

When the show is played back, it will count down the Alert time and give you a warning when you are getting close to the estimated start of the cue.

I'll second that "request" as my previous console from AVAB have had this small but really nice and handy feature. We all got used to it :o)

Maybe just a small but permanent display of timer/counter in the corner? If Alert function is enabled, change of counter color or symbol/icon could be used to show that alarm function is on.
