We just had a hard crash. The programmer had made some changes to a content effect in the Live Effects display and moved the level wheel to bring up the effect and the hour glass appeared. The hour glass was up for about 10 minutes before we used Ctrl+Alt+Del to force the congo software to shutdown. It was listed as not responding. We suspect the problem may be related to the client. We had been using it earlier in the day. Yesterday we had been using the client and found that we could not record screen layouts to the direct selects. Restarting the console seemed to solve the problem. Both times we had shut the client down before noticing the problems on the console.
