Converting from Congo to Strand File?

Hi there -

Congo uses the ASCII show file format as its native format, so there is no conversion necessary on the Congo side. You'll need to find out how the Strand console deals with importing from an ascii show file.

Ther´s a program from Strand Lighting named "SHOWPORT" for converting between ASCII and "Strand Show file"...

You need to change the fileattribute from .asc to .txt on your ASCII-file.

Thanks for the tips, I've been using showport but it was the file renaming that proved most useful.

If anyone has success with conversions from congo to strand please let me know what the common pitfalls have been.
