It isn't clear to me what you are trying to do. Could you please explain what you want to do and for what purpose?
it sounds like he wants to know if the Congo will use a joystick, presumably for intelligent lighting control, (similar to how the MLC16 and similar boards can use a mouse)
I'm actually wondering this myself, because joysticks are a great tool for on the fly lighting. I programmed a few chases on out DMX Operator Pro this way during a game show and nobody seemed to notice too much.

It is currently not possible to use an external pointing device (mouse, trackball, joystick) to control pan and tilt.
In the large Congo you can use the builtin trackball or the parameter wheels. On the Congo Jr, you have to use the parameter wheels.
