Offline editor for congo v5.1 on mac

Hello again,

I'm very new to the offline editor and was wondering just how to get started. Do I need to go in a patch all our pars, movers, hazer, etc so anything I program will link up with the congo? I tried to take my jump drive with presets stored and oepn it in the editor but am having no luck. I think I might need to import the templates or channel layout but not sure. Any suggestions? Thanks for bearing with me.

  • The offline editor is essentially the same software as the software in the real console.

The idea is that you can use it to pre-program your show, or make edits to an existing show without the real console.

So you don't need to 'import' anything - just load and save your showfiles.

The 'Play Archive' is on the computer hard disk in the "Plays" subfolder of the installation folder, and USB drives connected while Congo Offline is running will appear in the Browser the same way as on the real console.
