Programming to a time code / click track

Is it possible to take audio input or a time code into the Congo to link presets to?

  • Congo supports MIDI Time Code (MTC) to link Sequence Steps to for automatic playback.

If your playback device can output MTC (or you have a suitable converter), you can connect this output to the MIDI In port on the back of your Congo and use Timecode controlled playback.

You'll need to enable this in [Setup] > MIDI

The Timecode used for each Step can be found in one of the columns in the Sequence List Editor -  # [SEQ], then scroll to the right. Timecode is entered like text using the "hh.mm.ss.ff" format.

LTC (SMTPE) timecode is not currently supported, but is planned for the near future via the Show Control Gateway.
