Congo Offline Editor on Windows 7 via XPMode

Hello

I have recently been upgraded to Windows 7 Professional. I have installed the XPMode program so that I might have half a chance of being able to run Congo Offline...

Alas, no. It cannot get past the startup screen.

Has anyone got it working or is there something I'm missing?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Congo probably won't run properly in XPMode, as that mode disables a lot of the graphics acceleration that Congo needs.

What error message do you get?

You should be able to run Congo in Windows 7 directly, although you may need to install Microsoft .NET 1.1 and probably enable "Legacy Folders" within the c:\congo folder as well, although that might happen by default.

You could try to switch off the online help system to see if this gets you started.

Make a shortcut to C:\congo\congo.exe and add the parameter /NOHELP. The complete shortcut should look like this:

c:\congo\congo.exe /NOHELP

PS. Do you have any more info about the error message that you get?
