x-keys

Okay, so I've been hearing about X-Keys and looked into it just now and noticed there are a variety of X-keys systems... one that caught my eye is a setup that includes a joystick in the unit... is this something that the Congo/jr. could support? I would love to be able to map X/Y encoders for focus palette to a joystick... or for that matter to my external mouse/trackball. Any chance this possibility exists or might be added in the future?

  • The model of X-Keys that most people use is the 58 Key version. This has a good number of keys, and if programmed correctly, you can use the second page(RED Page) for not so common commands.  I am not a Congo user, just and EOS offline user, and it's a great asset to have.  Who want's to learn keyboard shortcuts anyways! LOL.  I'm not sure how the joystick would work, as the X-Keys generally just simulate keyboard commands.  Might be tricky to get the software to work with the console.
