Congo channel limit?

Question

Okay, Congo is smarter than I am. I'm trying to load an ASCII show file into the offline that has device channels up to 3000+. The desk supports 3072 channels, but I cannot seem to get either the Mac or Windows offline to admit to more than 1024. Can't find any reference to changing a channel maximum in the manual or the software. What am I missing?

I think I figured it out. 
 1) Choose the "System settings" option from the Congo Offline startup screen 
 2) Observe that the "Channel downgrade" value is 3072. (No need even to change it, unless you want to.) 
 3) Click Ok 
 4) Start Congo Offline 
 5) Channel data base now has 3072 channels instead of 1024! 
 Moral: Some problems are better solved early in the morning than late at night.
