Incredibly Stupid Question About Congo Backups

I'm sure this is a stupid question (as the subject line happily suggests), but is there any other way to create a back up for the Congo console, other than the Congo Light Server, another Congo, or a Congo Jr?

My research tells me no, but I just want to make sure I'm not missing something obvious. I know that the Remote Video Interface has options inside the Systems Settings that refer to Backups, but I'm getting the feeling that those are just artifacts from using the same software as the Congo console.

You are correct, you need a console that's able to be a Server in order to be a backup to a Congo, which means a Congo Light Server, Congo Console or a Congo jr.

As you suspected, the options in the RVI are only there because it's easier to leave the options there (and ignore them) than to hide all the options that would only apply to a Server/Backup.

(The same is true of Eos and Ion, though that's slightly more complicated as Eos and Ion have slightly different capabilites)
