Odd second screen issue on Congor Junior

Hey guys, yup, me again.

Today I came in to work and it seemed one of my electricians was familiarizing himself with the board.

He could not explain what he did but monitor two has been acting strange, it is the live tab and wont display any data except the "live" button at the top. Also the data depicted normally at the bottom, "current channel and the logo" are also gone. Nothing with the format button or arrow keys seem to do anything.

Monitor one seems to work fine, I can collapse and move around tabs, without a problem, but montor two just shows the standard grey background and red box.

I took some pics with my ipad, sorry of the quality.

The first picture is of the culprit, the other one is monitor one who behaves normally.

Before you guys ask, yes I checked all the cabling, and everything seems in order on the setup menu.

  • Hi Omar -

Yes, that does look strange. Can you please try the following:

From the startup screen, go into system settings.

Click on the Monitors tab with the mouse.

Change the resolution for screen 2 to some other setting and click apply.

    Shut down and restart.

Go back into settings and reapply the correct resolution setting for screen, click apply.

This should fix it, a restart may be needed though.

This should kick the video card in the rear and get the screen working properly again.

    Sorry for the confusion -
