Time fader for a chase effect

Hi,

Anybody who knows how I can make a fader that controls the speed of a chase? chase would be fader 1 & time fader 2. I've seen the guy demoing the congo at our theatre do it, but I can't find the function myself.

greetings,

Steven

  • I think you mean "Time Master", which is for Sequences - most commonly in Chase mode, though it doesn't have to be.

    To set one up:

    • Create a Sequence (eg Seq 2)
    • Open the Master List: [Modify] & [Master] or Browser > Masters > Master List
    • Set the Content Type of the Master to "Time Master"
    • Set the Content to the Sequence Number that you want it to control (eg 2)

Now close the Master List and it's done.

    They work like this:

    • Master is at 0%, the Sequence is paused
    • Master at 50%, the Sequence runs at the recorded speed
    • Master at 100%, the Sequence runs at double speed
